Gavan came out and stood were he was

Carnation awakens with a stretch but doesn't get up yet.

Mischka has been lingering around in Oreos territory for the past week and is sleeping in another bolt hole. He has been trying to find ways he can socialize with Carnation without the Oreos knowing or seeing but so far his tactics have been met with failure or almost getting himself killed.

Smudge wakes up from beside Mellow Yellow and Acacia, and instead of going straight outside as he usually does, he decides to explore the tunnels on his own.

Carnation has a dreamy smile on her face as she stares up at the ceiling. She can't stop thinking about Mischka, the rover she met a week ago who has come back for her mutiple times but has failed to try to pull her away from the group to socialize. She has recently developed these feelings for him....the kind of feelings that make you feel all warm inside and overly happy. She blushes and giggles as she thinks about him. She hopes to see her forbidden Romeo again today. But her sudden attraction to another male could be in Luke's dismay.

Mellow Yellow twitches in his sleep, and accidentally kicks Acacia, waking her up. She leaps up onto all fours in surprise, but relaxes when she realises it was only her pup.

Smudge returns from his solo exploration, bored.

Carnation rolls on her stomach and rests her head on the sand sighing passionately. For the second time in her life, she's in love with an unrelated male. Completely against her expectations and beliefs but for reason she can't help but to feel this way even though it's against the meerkat society rules.

Luke is still sleeping, unaware of Carnation's feelings for Mischka.
Alex emerges, scanning the sky.
Estella sleeps by Hershey.
Trinian bounds out of the burrow, eager to start a new day.

PK emerges and scans the area.

Kal emerges and suns himself.

Sacha is still asleep.

Carnation gets up, stretches then heads for the burrow entrance in a dreamy gaze. The next time she sees Mischka, she's going to socialize with him whether the Oreos approve of it or not.....most likely they won't obviously but the thrill of a relationship with a rival outsider just makes things more exciting.

Mischka is doing what Carnation is doing, getting the day started. As he exits his bolt hole, he's greeted by a glorious sun rich Kalahari morning. He stretches out his stiff limbs then faces the sun to warm himself up. His wounds are healing nicely and he's in the best mood he's ever been in for a long time...the reason....he's finally met a female who appreciates him and loves him back.

Gavan yawns

Carnation emerges from the burrow with a spring in her step and that in love dreamy smile still formed on her face. The moment she lays eyes on Luke, her love gaze turns into a guilt ridden one. She feels horrible for neglecting him over the past several days. She still loves him dearly but she also loves Mischka....she realizes she's going to have to choose....the choice should be an obvious one. She's known Luke since she joined the Oreos...Mischka....she only knew for a few minutes each day he appeared to try to sweep her away. She doesn't know him well enough to trust or even form a romantic relationship with him. But she's interested in wanting to meet him so she can get to know him better. she'll be keeping an eye out for Mischka today.

Mischka also has that love smile formed on his face. He churrs passionately as an image of Carnation flashes in his mind. He can't wait to see her beauty in person once more. He knows he'll be up for a challenge when he attempts to meet up her. The Oreo males have been on to him and they've figured out ways to outsmart what he thought were clever undetectable roving techniques. He'll have to have his wits about him when he tries creeping towards Carnation unnoticed.

PK looks at Carnation and widens his eyes. She wasn't normally like this...

Sacha awakens and emerges.

Kal looks at Carnation and smirks.

Turahn glanced at Carnation and sighed a little.

Carnation looked over at PK then at Turahn blushing with a hint of guilt. She knows she shouldn't let herself get tempted by a mangy, pesky and unwanted rover such as Mischka, but she can't help feeling this way towards him. She has tried to resist his charms, especially since she still passionately cares about Luke. Mischka's charms have pulled on her heart strings and she has given in to his romantic woes. But a forbidden date with the outsider could get her tail in a sling.

Impatient to want to see Carnation again, the excited Mischka cuts his sunbathing session short and takes off from his bolt hole. He's gotten to know where the Oreo's burrow is and where they've been foraging during the week so finding them shouldn't be much of a problem. His still healing and sore wounds cause him pain occassionally so he paces himself so as to not irritate or reopen them.

PK gets back to sentry. Carnation's thoughts are none of his buisness.

Kal grooms himself.

Sacha looks around.

Carnation looks off into the distance with her gleaming love gazed pink eyes, hopeful. She hopes her Romeo appears soon.

Mischka has picked up the scent of the Oreos on a bush. He pins his nose to the ground and begins trailing the Oreo's scent.

Acacia emerges, closely followed by her two pups. She begins to sun herself to warm up. Smudge practices with his digging techniques, and Mellow Yellow tries to amuse himself by chasing his own tail.

Akina came above ground and had noticed Carnation's strange behavior. He looked at Carnation sadly, she remembered how Hershey had been treated when she was pregnant, and she didn't want anything like that to happen to Carnation because of a rover she barely knew. Akina gulped, she knew what Carnation was risking in seeing this rover, her place in the mob, and her skin if they mated and Starburst were to find out.

Carnation doesn't notice Akina eyeing her with concern. She looks over the vegetation surrounding the burrow, waiting for Mischka to appear.

Acacia watches Carnation's unsual behaviour with worry. She just hopes that, if Carnation does socialise with the rover, then she doesn't get into too much trouble because of it.

Sacha walks over to Akida, watching Carnation.

Carnation looks down at the ground. She's even worried about her position in the group if she keeps trying to sneak off to spend time with Mischka. She's also surprised about feeling this way. She had never been interested in rovers, actually they used to scare her, but there's something about Mischka that makes her gravitate towards him. Could it be that goofy grin of his? That funny looking, staggering walk he shows when he sees her? Those handsome, gleaming eyes? She sighs dreamily. She likes everything about THIS rover for some reason. Perhaps her change of personallity could also have something to do with this. She used to be afraid of pretty much everything until the day the Reapers attacked her. Ever since then, she's developed a bit of a brave wild side.

Acacia decides to join Sasha and Akida for company, still watching Carnation. She's hoping that Mishka won't turn up today and tempt Carnation any further, worried that Starburst will evict Carnation if she's seen with him. She remembers the vicious eviction she recieved from her old dominant female and shivers fearfully.
