Roleplay- 4th of January

Nemo smiles as everyone welcomes Leah. She'll fit right in, he hopes. He stands on his hind legs, taking a moment to scan the area once more. One can never be too careful. A threat could come in at any given moment.

ooc; lol Everyone is calling me different names. I have someone using my username and someone calling Rania Raina. The name is like Raw-Nee-ah lol

bic; Rania was glad to have a new friend. She turned to Jade and returned the favor.

ooc: I've decided to have Miracle look up to Rania and follow her everywhere X3

bic: Miracle chirps and tries to groom Rania as well, but being a pup, fails.

Smiles at Rania Also glad then countiued to groom her

Antebellum, however, doesn't join the grooming party. Instead, the pads over to Nemo and peeps a good morning before starting to groom him a little.

Splash remains below ground, but decides head up... She glances back to see if Chester Quavers will follow her... She still plans to stay home though.

Started by Splash’s movement, Chester Quavers nodded and returned to standing on her four paws. Next to the older female she was still fairly small in stature but that wouldn’t stop her keeping Splash company at the burrow.

Entering the dark tunnel, Morning Glory continued to sniff the air for any sign of her missing family members or any potential dangers.

Splash smiles at Chester Quavers and starts to walk out of the chamber... Eventually she comes across Morning Glory and looks up at her.

Morning Glory churr’d lovingly as she approached her adopted children. It had been a miracle that Splash had made her way back to the group and it was now up to the dominant female to ensure she stayed safely where she belonged. Rubbing her fluffy cheek against the young adult, she smiled wondering if Splash still had today the intention of staying back at the burrow for yet another day.

Seeing Morning Glory, Chester Quavers bounded over to her aunt and rubbed her body against her in a cheerful greeting. Chirping her enthusiastic intention of staying behind with Splash, she suddenly noticed the concern fill Morning Glory’s bright black eyes.

With the safety of more than one individual staying at the burrow to think about, Morning Glory understood she’d need to get her most reliable subordinates to stay and supervise or keep the group close to home to forage around the outskirts of the burrow for security. They was no way she was going to risk losing another pup to the cruel fate of the desert.

Splash nods... She does intend on staying home once again. She understands it'll continue to take a toll on her health, but she'd rather do that than go foraging, as she feels unsafe...

Nemo chrrs as he felt Antebellum groom him. He began to return the grooming, becoming fond with this female. There was something about her that drew him in. What it could be, not even he knew.

Antebellum, now more sure of herself, began to groom Nemo a bit more passionately.

As hard as it felt everyday to see Splash stay behind, Morning Glory caringly nuzzled her again respecting her wishes. Turning to Chester Quavers, the pair gently touched noses before Morning Glory turned and disappeared back up the tunnel eager to start foraging as they now had the extra task of foraging for the pups at the burrow as well as themselves.

As she watched Morning Glory disappear into the darkness, Chester Quavers peeped at Splash wondering what the older female now had in mind.

Panda nodded softly at Rania. She wouldn't join in the grooming session. For some reason over the last month Panda had gone back into her shell and didn't seem to want to come out of it. She bowed her head down and sprawled out onto the sand.

Paw looked over at Panda and peeped softly. He went over and dipped his head under hers. He was curious about his friend. He wanted the playful female he loved and knew back.

Splash peeps to Chester Quavers... They can either stay below or go up, but she's not leaving the burrow area, and will stay really close to the entrance if she's outside.

Giving a sweet pupish smile, Chester Quavers nodded accepting Splash’s wishes and trotted off down the dark tunnel following in the footsteps of Morning Glory back up onto the surface.

Thoughtfully dreaming as she walked, Chester Quavers sadly remembered what it was like to stay behind at the burrow on those long days shortly after she had emerged for the first time. She had her littermates then, but could only remember at any one time having a maximum of two. She definitely had a sweet, little sister: one who had the sharpest teeth and prettiest of markings and maybe a brother. Now after the terrible event of the scary flames and thick smoke she had none, but that was now about to change now that she had Splash to confide in.

Pausing to wait for Splash, she tried to imagine her littermate brother. He had big, dark eyes, orbs of the night set perfectly against his fluffy face but yet he hadn’t been with the group before the fire and her mind could only paint a mental image of being curled up next Sanders.

ooc: Can I change my mind and say Badru wasn't predated? I was kinda in a bad mood when I did that... Or is it too late? I would really like to say he's alive though... Maybe he got separated, I have a little idea.

bic: Splash quickly follows Chester Quavers. Once above ground, she lies down...

ooc: It's up to you Pancake, I'm sure it will be ok to assume he was predated but actually survived. It's really whatever you feel comfortable with RP'ing.
Very sorry this is an ooc post without any RP but afraid I don't have much time this morning as I have to go out shortly. I will get a post up later.

Fletcher Renn avoids the grooming party as best he can. He hates being groomed.

Nemo kept up with his grooming. Antebellum was a very sweet female. And he yearned for her to be his. Then again, it wasn't like he could instantly make any female his own anytime he wanted. Plus, he still had to get to know her at least. Learn more about her and see if she was the one he sought.

Emerging lethargically from the burrow later than the rest of the group, six year old Stratus shuffled onto the sand and collapsed with a yawn. The sun’s warm rays felt wonderful on his ruffled fur and he closed his eyes contentedly before being awoken by the noise of agitated chatter above his head.

Spotting her mate finally joining the group, Morning Glory left the cover to the burrow and briskly trotted across the sand and stood firmly over Stratus. Concerned with his late emergence, she tenderly tried to groom the top of his head but knew there was little time left for socialising. They had to leave to head out to forage to maintain themselves for the day ahead.
Finally giving Stratus a gently nudge and a scent mark, she rose onto her hind legs and began to call out to the family for a willing babysitter.

Emerging onto the sand, Chester Quavers stood beside Splash and watched the adults. Noticing Stratus lying on the sand close by, she chirped and scurried over to him just as Morning Glory bounded away into the grass making lead calls.

ooc: I’ve picked up Stratus for a minute as the group was falling behind. Would anyone like to cover him for Kusuma or shall I just have him at the burrow for the day?

Splash follows Chester Quavers, but a little nervously, feeling a little insecure still...

Ooc: Hehe, sorry, I've been kinda neglecting the Tiny Kats, Willows, Comets and Jumaa. I'll try to pick it up more.

Bic: Stratus stood up, he was feeling a little under the weather lately, but the sooner they get foraging, the better.

Nemo looks up as he heard calls. A babysitter? He decides to volunteer and walks over to Morning Glory, peeping. He'll be willing to stay behind to babysit.
