Roleplay - 19th of July

Luke emerged from the burrow. He scent marked it, claiming it as Twizzler's territory. They might be one of the smallest groups, but that wasn't about to stop Luke. Alex emerged, yawning. Luke rushed over, and gently hip-slammed him. Alex didn't seem like much of a threat anymore.

Hershey lazily emerged from the burrow, soaking up the rays of the sun. She is still quite nervous from the dominance change. She walked voer to Alex, seeking some compassion.

Alex grooms Hershey affectionately. He liked her wether she was dominant or not. Luke stood up and took his turn of sentry duty.

Should someone take over for Verniece?

Hershey began to scratch at the dirt. She was hungry.

ooc: Do you mean Starburst? I think so, but if I take her I would be playing 75% of the group. It might be best if you take her, unless I can encourage Maybelline or Running Star to take her.

bic: Alex followed. He foraged near Hershey. Luke hesitated, and waited for Starburst.

Well see if either one of them wants her, then otherwise, I'll take her :]

Hershey went below ground, looking for Starburst. It was getting late. They needed to eat.

ooc: I'll try encourage someone else then.

bic: Luke stuck his nose in a hole and sniffed. He might as well start foraging while he waited. Alex sat up and kept his eye on the burrow.

Any luck?

ooc: I'll take her

Ok cool thanks!

Starburst emerges. She peeps an apology, it won't happen again. She makes lead calls, and heads out.

ooc: Thanks Pancake!

bic: Luke follows, keeping close to Starburt's side.
Luke pauses, and chirps to Hershey. He then follows the others.

ooc: No problem =D

bic: Starbust smiles at Luke, and glances around, waiting for the others to follow before heading on.

Alex catches up and decides to go on sentry duty.

Starburst reaches the foraging ground, lush this time of year. She starts digging.

Luke also begins foraging, catching a scorpion.
Alex remains on sentry duty.

Starburst finds a scorpion, and eats it hungrily.

Luke stops and sits by Starburst.

Starburst smiles at Luke.

Hersey forages and finds a juicy beetle. She eats it greedily, but saves the end for Alex. She then goes over to a nearby bush, where she finds a turtle egg! She makes sure no one else sees her. She carries it to a secure area and munches. This could hold her over all day.

Starburst continues to forage.

Alex ate the beetle greatfully. He walks over to Hershey and chirps.
Luke begins to groom Starburst.

Hershey accepts his advances and grooms Alex. She really cares for him, and maybe one day, she can have pups with him. But under the established order, little can be done now. Unless rules are broken...

Starburst doesn't notice Hershey and Alex, and pays no attention to them.

Alex chrred. What was she suggesting they do? He was happy as long as she was.
Luke was still close to Starburst's side. He wasn't really interested in foraging.
