Carnation also continues to watch the pups.

bic: Starburst nuzzled her pups lovingly, she wished she could be with them longer, but she was hungry and if they were to be fed, then she'd need to feed herself and the group. She headed above ground to get ready to forage.

Flare came above ground, after it had started getting dark during the attempted kidnapping of the Reapers' pups, Flare had been staying away from the others, feeling it was her fault the mission was failed and none of the pups could be brought back.

Sunny watched Flare. It wasn't her fault.

Smudge and Mellow Yellow bound above ground and quickly start playfighting.

Meanwhile Acacia wakes up. She leaves her bolt hole, and decides to go and watch her pups from a distance. She still hasn't plucked up the courage to approach the group, yet.

Carnation shivers from the chilly air in the burrow and heads above ground to warm herself up. She looks around realzing a good amount of the group are already up and sunning themselves. She doesn't take notice of Flare's guilt over what happened to Estella a week ago.

Smudge and Mellow Yellow continue to play.

Acacia arrives and keeps a short distance away, pleased to see her pups are still doing well.

Joey cleans out the burrow entrance, wanting it as clean and safe as possible for his new pups.

Carnation's thoughts are on Estella as she suns herself. She and a few other members of the group failed to save her from the Reapers almost a week ago. The Reapers were being way too vigilant that day and they couldn't find an oppertunity to slip passed their biological surveylance system to sneak in and rescue her. Carnation growls. She's determined to get her back and vows to bring her back to the Oreos mob.

PK peeps. None of them were to blame. The Reapers were a strong force to reakon with. He still wanted to help her though...

Joey doesn't care about Estella. They didn't get her back the first time, it was a sign she was meant to stay. They should give it up.

Carnation agrees that no one is to blame for Estella's kidnapping but she wishes there was still something they could do to get her back. With the rescue mission having been foiled, perhaps only fate knows why she'll end up staying.

Sandy let out one more cheerful chirp to the newborn pups before heading above ground. She churred to the meerkats above ground as if to say Good Morning.

Carnation peeps a warm morning greeting to Sandy.

Sandy stands next to Carnation to sun herself, sighing happily as the warmth beats down on her back.

Carnation resumes sunbathing. She sighs, fraught with worried. She hopes that Estella's captives haven't tortured her... or worse....

Hungry, Sandy begins to dig holes around the burrow, hoping for something good to eat.

Carnation begins to feel hungry herself but doesn't have the motivation to dig into the ground at the moment.

Sandy finally gives up foraging around the burrow and stands on her hind legs, waiting to go out on the foraging party.

Carnation looks around. The group seem to be staying at the burrow longer than usual but she thinks nothing of it and begins grooming herself.

PK waited to go foraging, hoping it would take his mind off Estella.

Kal smirks and casually grooms himself.

Sacha also waits, bored.

Smudge and Mellow Yellow continue to play fight, with little else to do until it was time to go foraging.

Carnation grooms her left thigh and at the same time, watches Mellow Yellow and Smudge playfight.

Sandy joined the playfight by jumping right in between Smudge and Mellow Yellow.

Carnation takes a break from grooming herself to watch the pups playfight.

Joey suns himself, a new aura of power emitting from him. He finally felt secure with his pups born now. He knew that Starburst really did love him.
