Roleplay - 15th of September

Peachy keeps a close eye on Dastan. She doesnt want him getting too close to her pups and growls at him as a warning. Alfonso stays behind her but pops his head out from her back occassionally making sure he's not doing anything that may threaten his life. Cyanide wants another piece of him goes at him with another wardance.

Dominic war dances, growling.

Running Star barks for the fighting to stop.

Peachy watches in horror as her fiesty pup Cyanide makes another attempt to try to tear up Dastan. Dastan is twice Cyanide's size and could easily do her some serious harm if he chose to attack her. Peachy worries what could happen if the Zippers encounter a rival group before Cyanide is old enough to take part in group fights. She'd most likely join the fight and risk being easily killed. Peachy's strong maternal instincts kick in and she runs ahead of Cyanide to protect her. Alfonso squeals in fright and runs the opposite way for his life.

Running Star runs and tries to pick up Dastan before all chaos breaks loose. (he's a pup, right?)

Peachy hears Running Star's bark to stop the assault on Dastan. She quickly grabs Cyanide before she wardances too far ahead of her mother to tear up the scared new comer. Cyanide then cries out in protest. Peachy stands her gaurd waiting to see what will happen next but she's unaware that in the confusion her pup Alfonso had run off in a panic away from the group.

Faith's eyes widen. What was the big deal? Dastan was only a pup.

ooc: I think I remember Dastan saying he was about 5 months old.

bic: Alfonso had run quite a distance from the group. He stops, stands on his hind legs and scans the area. There's no sign of his mother or the Zippers. He's out in the open in a strange area and the sun's light is fading fast. He begins to panic. He pads around in circles sending out distress calls.

ooc: 5 months is still a pup.

ooc: Oh I think meerkats are considered teenagers at 5 months old but I dunno.

ooc: 9 months.

ooc: oh ok

Dominic looked back. He wanted to obey his mate, but something told him Dastan was trouble, but he obeyed Running Star anyway.


Pepper doesn't though and charges at Dastan.

Cyanide attempts to follow after Pepper but her mother Peachy holds her back with her paw.

Running Star snarls at Pepper through her teeth.

suddenly Peachy catches a faint distress call. She observes the area confused as too where it could be coming from. She realizes that her pup Alfonso isn't with the group and panics. She runs around in a panic sending out contact calls to try to locate her son. 500ft away from the group, Alfonso picks up his mother's contact calls and bounds in their direction peeping in relief but he's attracted an wanted visitor. A puff adder has picked up his scent and slithers lazily and slowly, following him through the grass.

Faith looks at Peachy. Realising how stressed she is, Faith starts making calls aswell, trying to help her.

ooc: I want Dominic to be bit by the snake.

ooc: ok

Her body filled with anxiety, Peachy finds a fallen tree and climbs to the top to get better vantage point to try to locate her sun. Cyanide is torn between being part of the search party or chasing off Dastan. She sits watching the group weighing up her options. Cyanide makes her choice. The safty of her brother is more important who will play with her or keep her company when things are down? Cyanide may tend to bully her brother but she's close to him. She bounds off to look for him.

Dominic smells the snake and bounds forward. He snarls, but the snake lunges at him and makes contact with his front leg.

Peachy suddenly spots Alfonso. She peeps in relief, jumps down from the fallen down tree and makes a bee line for him. Cyanide was unwittingly heading towards the snake when suddenly she sees Dominic bound towards it. She sees him get bitten but doesnt see what he's been bitten by. Peachy nuzzles Alfonso and gives him some grooming to calm his anxiety. Suddenly Peachy spots the puff adder and peeps in fright. She sees Cyanide within close proximity to it and immdiately removes her from the danger. Peachy realizes Dominic has been bitten and panics.

Running Star immediately sets Dastan down and runs over to her mate.

Witht he help of Running Star, Dominic hobbles back to the burrow. He crwals inside and collaspses.


ooc: On the 19th I want everyone to think Dominic is dead, so then Pepper takes over, and when Dominic finally recovers and realizes what happened, he leaves for a roving trip. I have a few females in mind for him... Then he comes back and overthrows Pepper.

ooc: Does anyone else have anything they wish to add to this day before I start a new one?
