Yeah, pretty much. If you saw the movie, you'd understand why Makuta is doing that to Takua... But, I must say, the real Makuta is TONS worse. After all, he's like 20 feet tall. I try to make him match but I fail. And I think that this fan art fits him rather well (not mine):
