Roleplay - 19th September

Pepper follows Running Star.

Faith walks in a limp after Running Star.

Streak limps back to the burrow, exhausted from his battle with the Devils. He collapses at the entrance, passing out. He's still unaware of what the outcome of his mission to rescue Lewa was.

Dominic drags himself out of the burrow. He's recovered a lot, but seeing the group has gone, he doesn't try to catch up. He knows Pepper has taken over, so he goes roving, since he's not well enough to fight yet.

Peachy looks up at the sky and sees a flock of glossy starlings performing aireal menuvers. Alfonso is spooked by the birds. Having never seen them before, he is unsure of how to react to them. He clings to his mother for safty eyeing them nervously. Peachy nuzzles him and chirps to him reassuring him that glossy starlings are not a threat. Alfonso calms down but jumps easily when their shadows appear on the ground near him and when they make certain chirps.

Arrow watches the starlings and becomes slightly dizzy watching them go back and fourth across the sky.

Alfonso watches them curiously as they dart across the sky in all directions. He tries to stand on his hind legs but tumbles into Peachy. She giggles and chrrs reassuring Alfonso that he'll soon master standing on his hind legs.

Faith looks at the starlings, curiously. She always admired how fast they flew and how shiny their feathers were.

Tetsul glances away from Lewa to stare at the group of meerkats that seemed to be leaving, wondering if he should go with them.

Lewa peeped to Tetsul. Come on! We get to eat yummy scorpions! (XD)

Alfonso peeps (I want some toox3), no longer showing fear toward the glossy starlings. He's learned that they mean no harm and looks back up at them with more of a curious expression. He jerks his head quickly trying to keep track of their aireal menuvers but ends up getting dizzy and tumbles overXD. Peachy smiles proudly. her son is learning fast and is starting to confront his fears.

Pepper digs up a skink and eats it. Then, seeing Alfonso, bits it in half and drops some at his feet.

Alfonso looks up at Pepper then down at the bitten in half skink. He sniffs it then munches down on it hungrily. Peachy digs up a beetle and eats it slowly savoring the flavor.

Faith digs for food. She pulls up a millepede and drags it in the sand. She quickly eats it.

Arrow started to dig under a small bush.

Springer was sniffing a small hollow log looking for some scorpions but being catious of snakes.

Peachy starts to dig near the base of a fallen down tree. She digs up a scorpion but instead of disarmining it, she plans to teach her son Alfonso how to handle feisty food. She peeps to get his attention. Alfonso hears his mother's call and bounds over. Seeing that his mom caught a scorpion, he eyes it curiously without fear but doesnt try to kill it. Peachy nudges the scorpion over to him and it immediately rears its stinger to defend itself. Instinctively, Alfonso begins to mob the scorpion. He paws at it and bites at it while trying to avoid its stinger. After dodging several stings and recieving some, Alfonso manages to kill the scorpion then begins eating it triumphantly. Peachy smiles proudly. Her son's personality seems to be changing. He's becoming more bold the longer he's in the group.

Arrow dug up a millipede and started to drag it in the sand.

Springer finally pulls out a scorpion of his own and starts to munch down.

At the burrow, Streak is sleeping off his wounds.

Dominic creeps out and heads for the Willows.

Peachy nuzzles her son, proud of how much he's blossomed. He used to be so scared to learn new things and to meet new meerkats but now it seems he's willing to try new things. Alfonso chrrs contently.

Arrow starts to eat her millipede.

Peachy digs up some beetle larvae and gulps it down after chewing it a few times. Alfonso tries to immitate the group's digging techniques but can only scratch the surface and make tiny holes with his small claws.

Springer pads over and rewards Alfonso for his efforts with a juicy lizard he had just caught.

Alfonso chrrs happily and chows down on the lizard. Peachy smiles and peeps at Springer thanking him for his generocity.

Springer smiled and nodded happy to share with pups, even as a dominant of the Dares he was kind, except to rovers. He turned and stood by Arrow, sh was ready to mat and if there were any rovers nearby, they'd end up vulture feed. Arrow was used to the mate guarding, but she knew that he had no need to do it anymore, neither of them were dominant anymore.
