Joestar: Dominant Male tryout

From afar, he looks like your pretty typical meerkat bearing nice sandy brown fur with light grey under fur with dark brown stripes with normal dark patches around his eyes that mix well with his purple colored eyes. But a much closer look reveals he is quite scary and intimidating looking, he is blind in his left eye, torn up right ear, a nasty looking scar on the right side of his head that stops just pass his cheek and a even nastier one that starts just above his missing left eye trails down on from the left of his neck and stops just past his elbow, he also has two black patches on his right hip that he got from a snake bite in the past. He also has a few of smaller, a bit less noticeable scars around his body such as bite marks on the back of his head, faint, black scratch marks around his nuzzle and arms.

Joestar is also a massive meerkat, weighing around 3.5 pounds and 18 inches tall, his tail is around 8 inches long. His large size also due to his diet, due to being alone for a long time and not properly being able to forage for insects due to lacking the protection that being in a group provides, he had taken up the diet of eating, tortoises, small birds, baby ground squirrels or yellow mongooses etc, pretty much any mammal he finds fair game though it doesn't mean he had given up eating insects entirely, he also eats a lot regardless which is why he weighs so much.

Despite his appearance, he isn't THAT of a bad meerkat by any means, at least not anymore or a better way to put it, not currently. Joestar is a calculating, cunning, clever and quick witted individual he is however not heartless and sadistic by any means at all he can feel love and pain like any meerkat, he is however quite cold sometimes and most likely not care about anyone that he doesn't consider family and is utterly vicious during fights. He is also quite a jokester with a sarcastic and snarky attitude though not everyone is gonna agree with his jokes obviously. And he is quite a patient meerkat, well most of the time though he is easily annoyed but surprisingly takes a lot to anger, but that's just because he doesn't show that he's angry that much and you surely do not want to experience his full wrath. And another interesting trait of his is that he seems to love enforcing rules and likes being orderly and strict which is probably due to him loving and wanting to be in a position of authority. Either way many still consider him a heartless, insane monster even with his apparent change but who knows, perhaps this "change" is just a mask to hide who he truly is inside.

Joestar was born into a very small mob of just 6 which just consisted of 3 females, two of which are his older half siblings and the 3 males are actually his older cousins and he had never met his father and his mother just tells him that his Dad died when he was barely a week old. Life was pretty mundane, he was the only pup born thus the mob was able to bring him up to juvenile stage with little to not trouble, his puphood was however a pretty lonely one being the only pup and all. Life was pretty peaceful, there was no major conflict within the mob, until one day, when Joe was just around 6 months old, he was attacked by a african wild cat, whom is rarely seen around, let alone seen attacking meerkats but the predator was adept at dragging animals out such as meerkats out of their burrow, Joe happened to be ambushed whilst foraging. Joe fought viciously against the predator but began losing hope until his group began mobbing the wild cat to chase it away which worked and Joestar's life was saved just in time but not without leaving, many, many scars.

Joestar fell into some sort of depression a day after the event as he had a hard time adapting to just having one eye and not to mention his wounds made him weak and vulnerable for a while and remained at the burrow for the day, when sunset came around however only his 3 cousins returned from foraging and they explained to him that his mother and two older half sisters decided to go their separate ways as they felt they weren't gonna accomplish anything just by sticking around. This news only pushed him further into his depression and he felt like he was abandoned by her own Mother but his three brothers remained by his side. During the past 6 months, Joestar's wounds eventually healed and his cousins taught him how to rove and live on his own, basically any important knowledge for a meerkat, however Joestar did not get over his mother and sibling suddenly leaving him and his cousins and he still continued to look for them.

After reaching the age of one he decided to leave his 3 cousins and go roving all by himself, which proved fruitless for a while until he encountered a group 8 with 6 females and two males who are related to each other, Joestar took the opportunity to sweep in and take the position of DM. However, for what ever reason Jae decided to go on some kind of power trip, pushing the other members around and bullying the two males within the mob endlessly and more than twice has he violently attacked the two which resulted in the death of one them and the other one just left without a word. The small group he lead hated him with a passion and so did his "mate" whom made no action against him in fear what would happen to her siblings if she did, Joestar had only one surviving litter with her and he would only get to see them become a month old and go foraging. He was bitten by a cape cobra during one of their foraging trips, the group saw their chance to finally get away from him as he was too weak to leave the burrow and thus Jaestar never saw them again nor his son and daughters.
During his painful solitary time within the burrow, Jaestar began to realize and regret all the mistakes he had made by being abusive and controlling of his former group and he knew he wasn't gonna go very far by doing just that to every group he joins and thus vowed to clean up his act and change. He survived the snake bite and managed to prevent himself from starving by eating small scraps of food, mostly ants and ant larvae. After that he has been by himself ever since, looking for a new start hopefully.
