Morning Glory emerged early from the burrow unusually calm and with a carefree expression on her face. The addition of the wild meerkats plus the return of Antebellum and Splash had given her a new burst of hope for her small family. With more adults to watch over the few pups that had been saved from the fire their chances of surviving in the harsh desert were looking up.
Tucking her head down as the first rays of sunlight gently warmed her brow, Morning Glory nibbled the soft fur of her stomach and patiently waited for signs of her family emerging.

Fay emerged and suned herself aswell as Jade and Mist

Antebellum emerged slowly after the three subordinates. She churred a peaceful good morning to Morning Glory before sitting down to sun herself.

Splash emerges out of the burrow nervously. She's a little jumpy without her friend here...

Miracle is sleeping....

Unfortunately... Aruna was predated...

Chirping to acknowledge the emergence of several of the subordinate members of the group, Morning Glory sighed sadly remembering that one set of little paws wouldn't be joining them today. Taking the thought of Aruna with her the dominant female trudged towards one of the main burrow mouths and began excavating some loose debris.

Antebellum sighed as she thought of Aruna's untimely demise. Just another future next generation lost... would the Tiny Kats remain for much longer?

ooc: Would anyone like me to put up a thread to discuss a possible dominant change here in this group so an outcry doesn't happen like it did before? I'm detecting some negativity towards my absence of late especially in the chatbox so maybe if i cut down on everything and have hardly any characters I won't cause the site too much bother.

ooc: NO. Morning Glory is my favorite dominant, like, ever. She's so well played... I never said anything about your absence.

ooc: It's not a direct stab at anyone but just feels like a wake up call to maybe i do hold too much information for the site and that struggling with it alone isn't helping me to keep up or let me enjoy the site in the way I did before. I've suggested to Dipsy to see if anyone else would like to take over the responsibility of the ID and Roll Call spreadsheets to try and spread some of the responsibilities I have.
If not some of my characters will have to be dispersed and the site maintenance will have to take priority.

Nemo slowly emerges. He had gotten used to the Tiny Kats. It also sadden him that Aruna had perished at the claws of a predator. He slowly began to sun himself. Hopefully... Things would improve for the mob he had been accepted into a week ago.

ooc: Maybelline, I've been trying to do that, and I would love to take the weight off of your shoulders with it so you can play MG. It would break my heart to see her step down.

ooc; I really have no clue how to join this. I guess I'll just be a total creeper and watch from afar until I'm detected?


Rania had woken up a tad later than anticipated. She crept out of the bolt hole she had spent the previous night and and cautiously scanned the sky. Upon seeing no danger she warily walked out, she didn't bother with burrow maintenance or anything of the sort since she had no intentions of staying there. Slowly she walked through the desert, she checked the sky every few steps. Being alone was something she really hated.

Some time later she caught a scent in the air, finally what she had been searching for was near enough for her to smell it. Other meerkats. She followed the scent until she could see a burrow in the distance. She wanted to find a way to join them, but being too intimidated to do anything about it she just waited on the outskirts of the burrow until she was noticed.

((OOC: Aw, don't make MG step down. =( I personally don't mind if you're gone for a while or not. I know its stressful to be a moderator, I know, I'm one myself on a website one of my friends made, so I'm second in command if he's not online.

And you're doing fine Leah. You should have your character approach the mob, submissive, so they know she isn't a threat, then its up to the dominant female (or male for... well, outside males. xD) to for them to accept them in.))

ooc; Thanks I planned on acting submissively after I was noticed but I was just content to creep for now lol
And Morning Glory can't step down, I'd be so sad. I was reading through a bit of what was going on while waiting for the next day and she's my favorite one, that's actually why I joined the TinyKats. And her name is totally awesome

Splash spots Rania and watches her warily... She squeaks after a few minutes and runs into the burrow.

Realizing she had been detected Rania jumped back. She wanted to join the group but she was hesitant; afraid. She warily took a couple steps forward and lied down in the sand. She wanted to see if they were feeling friendly or hostile before she got any closer.

ooc: Maybe what we could do is have each group 'looked after' by a different person? Like, one person could watch the Tiny Kats, another the Comets etc. and they make changes to the groups personal name list. Then we could all upload our infomation at the end of the roleplay day, so that it can all be copied into one big namelist. I know this would work for me, as I can't keep up with all the groups but I should have enough time to keep up with one. So what do you guys think?

bic: Fletcher Renn bounded out of the burrow, flicking sand about as he did so. He watches Splash scurry back in, and chirps to her, confused. He then turns around, scanning the area for any danger.

ooc: That's an amazing idea Dipsy, I always struggled with names lists for groups I didn't read as much like Reapers, Zippers or Oreos. Updating one or two will be so much quicker than all of them as you can tell I think I got to Willows and had to stop. I can separate the the current ID list and send it to the individual members if you think this would help.

I will post again once I've read up on the posts i missed over night.

ooc: This would be a lot easier than the whole bulk of every meerkat. We have more than the KMP does.

ooc: Yeah, we could do that. My reports could help a bit I think, I think I can handle all of them.

Nemo also watches Splash run back into the burrow. Confused, he looks around, before spotting Rania. He raised an alarm to alert the mob before he walked over to investigate the female.

Rania froze. She knew she couldn't remain hidden any longer. She immediately put her head down and rolled over. She tried to make herself look as small and non-threatening as possible. The last thing she needed was for her presence to be taken the wrong way and end up chased off into the desert. She was tired of being alone.

occ: Sorry for my absence guys, I'm way to busy these days:L

Panda slowly stirred in her sandy chamber. The young female stretched out and pushed herself to her feet, then slowly emerged. She peeped a greeting to everyone, then finally spotted Rania.

Paw yawned as he awoke in his chamber, he then stood up and shook his sandy fur before emerging.
