Roleplay - 28th of August, 2009

Ages of those under one year:
Splash ...... 4 months and 23 days.
Hutch ...... 3 months and 23 days.
Tuck ...... 3 months and 3 days.
Golly Gosh, Grace, Glade and Gretel ..... Newborns.

None.

Miley emerged, looking around. She sat by the burrow mouth.
Keeko was also awake, but he hadn't emerged. He was with Buckeye, and their newborn pups.

Buckeye suckled the newborns and chired to Keeko. Splash grabbed the newborns and hugged them tight. New brothers and sisters!

ooc: How many in the litter?

bic: Keeko pressed close to Buckeye. He had never felt so happy. He hugged his pups.

How bout 4? 3 females and one male?

Buckeye groomed each pup, as well as the rest of the family. But as leader, it was her job to lead the foraging party out. She scent marked her pups, groomed them one last time, and went above ground. Splash, old enough to join the adults, followed.

ooc: Okay. Can I have the male? I must have one named Golly Gosh!

bic: Keeko followed Buckeye, and stood up proudly.
Miley walked over, chirping happily.
Crash was still below ground, watching the pups.

Of course! I'll take the three females? Any suggestions for names? And also, should I take over Sammi's characters for right now?

With Crash watching the pups, Buckeye felt secure. She waited for all the family to come up before leaving.

ooc: Maybe leave two of the females up for adoption, incase someone else wants them. (But i think it will be unlikely.) Otherwise they are all yours.
As for names, you could name them Grace, Gretel and Glade, which are characters from the same book as Golly Gosh.
And, yes, please take over Sammi's characters.

bic: Crash appeared above ground. He nodded to Buckeye. You can count on me!

Sounds good to me. Grace, Gretel and Glade!!

Buckeye nodded back with a smile. Thanks! With all of the family above ground now, Buckeye led the group out, leaving Crash and the pups home.

ooc: Sorry, I'm trying to hold the roleplay off a little, waiting for the others. We really need to try and get new members.

bic: Keeko followed beside Buckeye.
Crash headed below ground to check on the pups.

Np, I know, and I've done everything i think i could. Do you know what the other sites are doing to attract members?

Well, Linklu has advertisements on Youtube. We have one. And other sites affiliate with each other, but everytime I try to do that I never get a response. Hmm. We need to make Desert Warriors as wide-spread and well-known as possible.
Sorry if I sound like I'm whinging.

Haha no its fine! I understand... I can;t think of any other way to advertise it. We've tried every possible avenue. Any to really get it wide spread, most likely, your gonna have to pay

Sigh. I know. I just don't know how to get in contact with the roleplayers!
Mum said she would 'promote' my site to the teachers at my brother's primary school, because it would be good for their English or something. That might work.

That's a great idea, because they will spread it to all their students.

Just as long as they participate!
That reminds me, I must make that website! I will just use one of my old ones.

bic: Keeko walked along Buckeye. He kept looking back anxiously.
Miley followed, keeping an eye out for dangers.
Crash headed below ground, to check on the pups.

Splash wakes up, and looks around, slightly nervous.

Crash sees Splash, and walks over to her. The group has just left.

Splash gives a sigh, and sits down.

Over at the foraging party, Buckeye is eating ferociously. She needs to replenish her energy and milk supply. She counted on her family to help keep guard. Verneice watched for danger as Hutch stuck his head in the ground near her.

Keeko also foraged, but he kept glancing over his shoulder. He could not help but feel worried.
Miley foraged near him.
Back at the burrow, Crash headed below ground to check on the pups.

Buckeye groomed Keeko. It would be ok. Now full, she took uo sentry duty for her family. Verniece and Hutch ventured a little farther off in search of better food.

The pups were happy to sense Crash nearby, and although they were only newborns, they knew how to snuggle.

Crash cuddled the pups, chrring softly. They were so adorable.
Miley saw Verneice and Hutch, and called to them, before dashing after them.

Buckeye looked up and saw three of her family running off. Just when she was about to call for them to return, she heard a flapping of wings behind her. A big eagle was flying low toward her direction, and she barely let out an alarm call before she was forced to take refuge in a close bolt hole. When she got to the hole, she called for the rest of the family.
